About the Museum

The Egyptian National Military Museum is housed in the historic Haram Palace, constructed by Mohamed Ali Pasha in 1872. Visitors can explore halls such as the Ottoman and Mohamed Ali Pasha Militaria Hall, the 1948 Arab-Israeli War Hall, the 1952 Revolution Hall, the 1956 Suez War Hall, the 1967 War Hall, and the 1973 War Hall. Each hall showcases artifacts, weaponry, and exhibits that narrate the stories of Egypt’s military engagements and achievements.

In addition to the indoor exhibits, the museum features an open-air exhibition area. This space displays a collection of Egyptian military weapons and equipment, as well as weapons captured from adversaries during the October War. The exhibition area includes a fountain and utilizes sound and light systems to present captivating night shows, employing “Projection Mapping” technology to enhance the visitor experience. ​

• Simulator Gallery: The museum offers an interactive digital hall equipped for 3D simulation shows. With a capacity of 24 movable seats and enhanced with sound and light effects, visitors can experience simulations such as driving a military tank or aircraft during battle. ​
