At the entrance, several plane engines and major wreckage from aircraft remain on display, including a Bell P‑400 Airacobra (in one piece), a Douglas SBD‑3 Dauntless dive bomber (number 06662, recovered after crashing during late 1942), and a Grumman F4F‑3 Wildcat wreck. These large artefacts provide a tangible connection to the air battles fought above the island.

Beyond the entrance, in the outdoor area behind the museum, visitors can see other wartime machinery such as an M2 Cletrac tractor that was used to move aircraft, more artillery pieces including Japanese mountain guns, and a Bren Gun Carrier along with naval gun barrels.

Inside the pavilion, the museum houses a rich collection of smaller wartime artefacts. These include both American and Japanese machine guns, a B‑17 belly gunner’s turret (missing the gun itself), a 44‑gallon drum from the U.S. Quartermasters Corps, various mortar carriers and oil cans, parts of a B‑24D bomber wreck, artillery shells of different types, and personal items such as British, American and Japanese helmets, gas masks, water bottles (including one with a bullet hole), a Japanese rotary magazine, knee mortar tube, and other munitions components.

The museum operates during school days from Monday through Thursday, from morning until late afternoon, and on Friday and Sunday in the morning only. It is closed on Saturdays. Visitors are encouraged to check current hours before arrival.
